Monky wood carving was imagined by our shop here in Ubud Bali
local artists here are very creative and come up with new concepts all the time
Bali is one of the remaining world ,renowned wood carving centers in the world
the people have learned the carving techniques by passing them down through generations.
The culture is a version of Hindu that emphasizes family community and religion
For this reason the artistic creativity is over the top and time is not always as critical as a
perfect piece of art.
Monky wood carving is made from tropical suar wood (albesia zaman ). Grown environmentally sustainable.
